Almost Black

Almost Black is the darkest sweet pea I grow, rich silky dark maroon blooms are stunning in the field and in the vase.

Minimum of 10 seeds per packet.

DO NOT PRE SOAK
All seeds are pre scarified, soaking will increase chance of mold.

Sun: Full 

Type: Annual; climbers; cut and come again. 

Start: Warm climates: fall. All others: late winter/early spring.
Sweet peas can handle a light frost, and enjoy long mild springs.

Plant Spacing: 6-8 in. 

Depth: ½ in.

Water: Heavy feeders, give them a good soak, but let dry between watering.

Soil: Rich, free draining. 

Pinch: at 4 true leaf sets.

Full Height: 6+ ft. tall

Store seeds: Cool/Dry
